Peshawar, Oct. 2 (ANI): The Difa-e-Pakistan Council (DPC) has asked the U.S. to hand over the maker of the anti-Islam film to Pakistan.
Former Pakistani legislator and General Secretary of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Sami (JUI-S) Ikramullah Shahid also announced a 200,000-dollar bounty for the Israeli-American filmamaker, reports The News.
"We will award 200,000 dollars to anyone who kills the filmmaker," Shahid was quoted, as saying.
He said the filmmaker had hurt the sentiments of Muslims across the world, but the Western countries had yet to take notice of the blasphemous act.
Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed, who backs the DPC said: "...now the most serious challenge for us is protecting the honour of the Holy Prophet. The worst terrorism was blasphemy against the Prophet of Islam."
Saeed said U.S. President Barack Obama was equally responsible for the blasphemous act.
The film- Innocence of Muslims- made by an Israeli-American filmmaker portrays Prophet Muhammad as a womanizer, fraud and a child molester. (ANI)
