"The government is keen to expedite developmental works in unauthorized colonies and take the regularization process to its logical conclusion at the earliest," said Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit.
The task force, to be chaired by director of local bodies, will comprise the three municipal commissioners and divisional commissioner.
The chief engineers from the Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation, the irrigation and flood department, the PWD, three Municipal Corporations and Delhi Jal Board would also serve as its members.
"The task force has been constituted with the aim to ensure expeditious decision on various issues pursuant to regularization of unauthorized colonies including finalization of lay out plans and execution of development works by various agencies," said a government official.
It will report the progress made to the chief secretary on a fortnightly basis.
