New Delhi, Sep 8 (IANS) A musician duo from Ghana playing traditional instruments enthralled an audience here Friday night.
Sporting a green tarboosh hat, Aaron Sukura from the west African country created music from the gyil -- a xylophone with gourds under it.
Osei Korankye played the seperewa -- a form of harp -- and sang folk songs about a protective father and his daughter.
These musicians are instructors at the Institute of Performing Arts at the University of Ghana. This was their first performance in Asia.
Besides teaching music, they are also trying to revive traditional musical instruments.
