Amritsar, Sept 3 (ANI): Pakistan High Commissioner to India Salman Bashir, who was here on a visit to the Golden Temple on his way to his country to participate in the foreign ministerial level talks, said that a practical pragmatic cooperation needed to establish peace in the region.

Apparently he was reacting to the statements that there has been delay in taking action against the perpetrators of Mumbai terror attacks. He pointed out that Pakistan is "terribly affected with the terrorism and there is tremendous need to find out the solution to this global problem." He claimed that Pakistan has been exerting full force to address this problem.

He said terrorism was now a global problem and everyone wanted to get rid of this menace from the society. By Ravinder Singh Robin (ANI)
