London, Sep 2 (ANI): After winning its one billion dollar court battle against rival Samsung Electronics Ltd, tech giant Apple is launching another lawsuit against the latter, alleging further infringement.

In a court filing made in a San Jose federal court, Apple has added four more products, including the Galaxy S III, claiming that they have violated its patents.

Apple won a major victory over Samsung last week in a separate case when a jury found that the South Korean company had copied critical features of the hugely popular iPhone and iPad and awarded the U.S. company 1.05 billion dollars in damages, the Daily Mail reports.

Since Apple proved that Samsung did copy their smartphone technology, Google chief Larry Page and Apple CEO Tim Cook have reportedly been locked in behind-the-scenes talks.

Sources claimed that the two executives had a phone conversation last week, amid speculation the search giant could be next in Apple's sights. Discussions involving lower-level officials of the two companies are also ongoing, the paper said.

Earlier, Apple gave a federal judge a list of eight Samsung Electronics Co. products it wants pulled from shelves and banned from the U.S. market, including popular Galaxy model smartphones. The judge has scheduled a September 20 hearing to discuss Apple's demands for the sales bans.

Page and Cook are expected to talk again in the coming weeks, though no firm date has been set, it added.

Both Apple and Google declined to comment on the issue. (ANI)
