Sunny Sunday morning in Delhi, wet evening likely

New Delhi, Sep 2 (IANS) It was a sunny Sunday morning in the capital with the minimum temperature settling two notches above the average for the season at 28 degrees Celsius. The met department has forecast rain in some areas towards evening.

"The sky would be generally cloudy after afternoon. There is possibility of rain or thunder development in some areas towards evening," said an official from India Meteorological Department (IMD).

"Maximum and minimum temperature would stay around 35 and 27 degrees Celsius," added the official.

Humidity recorded at 8.30 a.m was 84 percent.

Saturday's maximum temperature recorded was a notch above the average for the season at 35.3 degrees Celsius.
