New Delhi, Sept 1 (ANI): The Congress party on Saturday termed the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) continuous disruptions of the parliamentary proceedings "unfortunate."
Interacting with mediapersons here, Congress spokesperson Rashid Alvi said, " It is very unfortunate that the BJP is continuously not allowing the House to function. Parliament is the place of discussion, its a place to talk national issues, its a place to frame laws. The behaviour of the BJP is very unfortunate."
He reiterated that the Congress party is ready for discussion in parliament, and urged the BJP to engage in a parliamentary debate.
"Government has said that it is ready to discuss any issue. Disrupting the House is an insult to parliament, democracy and the constitution," he added. (ANI)
