Kylie Minogue hates limousine

Los Angeles, Sep 1 (IANS) Despite her fame, singer Kylie Minogue likes to lead a low profile life and insists she hates riding in expensive cars like the limousine.

In an interview with Britain's Independent newspaper, the 44-year-old singer said she doesn't "step out of the house with an entourage" and hates travelling in big and expensive cars, reports usmagazine.com.

"I find them embarrassing! I'm like, 'Please don't send a limousine!'" she said.

But the singer admits she enjoys the best of both worlds.

"I love to have this glamorous life sometimes, and if I didn't have any of that, I would probably be dressing up a bit more each day or going out on the weekend and making a real effort," she said.

"But I get to live out those fantasies on stage, in videos or photo shoots. But if I can go somewhere you can wear wellingtons -- and just be a total and utter bush person -- I need that," she added.
