Two IAF Mi 17 choppers collide midair, eight killed(update)

New Delhi, Aug 30 (ANI): Two helicopters of Indian Air Force collided midair in Gujarat on Thursday, killing the eight personnel on board.

Total 10 personnel were on board for a training exercise.

According to reports, the two helicopters had left for training sorties earlier today and collided mid-air near the village of Sarmat, around 15 kilometres from the city of Jamnagar.

The ill-fated IAF choppers were on their routine flight when they met with the accident. (ANI)
