14-year-old commits suicide

New Delhi, Aug 26 (IANS) A 14-year-old boy committed suicide by hanging himself in his south Delhi residence, police said Sunday.
The incident was reported at around 12.30 p.m. Sunday in Mehrauli area when Ankit Jain's parents did not elicit any response from his room, which was locked from inside.
Police broke open the door and found Ankit hanging from the ceiling fan.
The deceased was a student of class 9 in a private school.
He was pronouned dead at a nearby government hospital.
No suicide note was found, police said.
