B-wood remembers first man on moon

Mumbai, Aug 26 (IANS) Bollywood celebrities Sunday saluted American astronaut Neil Armstrong, the first man to set foot on the moon who died at age 82.

"Moon must be mourning the death of its first visitor. RIP Neil Armstrong," said Anupam Kher.

Priyanka Chopra added: "RIP Neil Armstrong. You made us believe in endless possibilities - in reaching for the stars. My Condolences."

Armstrong landed on the moon July 20, 1969 on Apollo 11 spacecraft. He is remembered for his widely quoted remark which he made on landing: "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." He died Saturday.

Shekhar Kapur said: 'One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.' Unforgettable message from moon by the first man to step on it. RIP Neil B-Armstrong.

Satish Kaushik added: "Man on the moon Neil Armstrong no more. RIP."
