Ravi takes over as science and technology minister

New Delhi, Aug 21 (IANS) Vayalar Ravi Tuesday assumed charge as minister for science & technology and assured full support to the scientists in their endeavour.
The portfolio was left vacant following the death of Vilasrao Deshmukh last week.
Ravi, who also holds of overseas Indian affairs, held a detailed interaction with the senior officers in the ministry and assured the fullest support to scientists.
