Generous Balotelli buys pals ?100k worth new cars

London, Aug 19 (ANI): Mario Balotelli celebrated being joint top scorer at Euro 2012 by gifting his pals new cars worth 100,000 pounds.

The Man City striker thanked his friends for their support after he fired home three goals during the championship in Poland and Ukraine.

The 22-year-old footie ace, who is well known for his crazy off-pitch antics including setting a firework off inside his bathroom, cemented his reputation as one of the hottest talents around during the competition.

He wowed fans when he fired an impressive brace to knock out Germany and send Italy into the final against Spain.

"Mario really is a generous guy. He still has the same pals he grew up with and they are loyal to him, as well as sharing his bizarre sense of humour," the Daily Star quoted a source as saying.

"There is nothing flash about what he did, he just wanted to say thanks for sticking by him.

"We're not talking Bentleys and Porsches, more Minis from The Italian Job," the source added. (ANI)
