Kulkarni outwits Singh in chess meet

Mangalore, Aug 18 (IANS) Vinayak Kulkarni from Bangalore upset International Master DP Singh from Southern Railways to join the leaders with six points in the second UKCA All India FIDE Rated chess tournament here Saturday.

Other sharing the lead with six points apiece were: Kunal M (TN), Ram S Krishnan (BSNL), Gahan MG (Mangalore), IM TS Ravi (Indian Oil), Pradheep Kumar RA (Bloom Chess Academy) and Vijendra (Karnataka).
