Condoleezza Rice to make modeling debut for NFL's women line
London, August 15 (ANI): Former US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is set to join Serena Williams and Melania Trump for NFL's clothing line's ad campaign this month.
Wearing a fitted football jersey and a big smile, the 57-year-old former diplomat poses for a newly revamped line of NFL apparel for women called 'It's My Team.'
The ad campaign, which aims to be a message of empowerment in the hopes of enticing women to the sport, also features a handful of notably successful women including business tycoon Donald Trump's wife, Williams and 'Dancing With The Stars' competitor Peta Murgatroyd.
"We want to show that you can be a [football] fan by what you wear to work, going to the gym or out at night with girlfriends," the Daily Mail quoted Rhiannon Madden, NFL's director of apparel, as saying.
"It's also a message of empowerment. It's your team-not your guy's team," she said.
Rice, who was apparently engaged to a football player Richard Upchurch in the Seventies, said that she was a Cleveland Browns fan through and through.
The NFL are hoping women everywhere will like Rice, who claims in the campaign that she "never miss[es] a game or a chance to show off [her] team colors!" (ANI)
