Hamid Ansari to take oath as Vice-President today

New Delhi, Aug 11 (ANI): Mohammed Hamid Ansari will be sworn in as the 14th Vice-President today after he was re-elected on Tuesday.
This is his second consecutive term as the Vice-President, only the second to do so after Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
Hamid Ansari will take oath to office at 11 a.m today.
In an almost one-sided contest Ansari got 490 votes out of the 788 valid votes cast in the elections.
His opponent, NDA backed candidate Jaswant Singh, got only 238 votes. (ANI)
