Gilani 'wrongly dismissed' by SC, says Aitzaz

Islamabad, Aug. 8 (ANI): Former Pakistan Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) president Aitzaz Ahsan has said the dismissal of former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani was wrong.
Defending Gilani against his dismissal by the apex court, Aitzaz said the country's judiciary was "too powerful" and had, at times, overstepped its limits, reports the Daily Times.
The apex court cannot terminate a law that is passed by parliament, he said, adding that some of the Supreme Court decisions were being questioned.
He also predicted that the Pakistan Peoples Party would win the next elections as President Asif Ali Zardari had good experience of forming coalition governments. (ANI)
