Two CRPF commandos killed in IED blast in Chhattisgarh

Raipur, Aug 7 (ANI): Two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) commandos were killed in a IED blast triggered by Maoists in Chhattisgarh's Dantewada District on Tuesday.

According to reports, a Tata-407 vehicle was blown up near Rajpeta village under the Basaguda Police Station area of Bijapur District, killing the two CoBRA commandos on the spot.

The commandos, identified as constable K P Singh and Mukul Burman, were carrying rations for a CRPF camp when the blast occurred.

Joint security forces had carried out an encounter near Basuguda last month. (ANI)
