Jitender Singh to visit Chhattisgarh to take stock of ground situation
New Delhi, Aug 4 (ANI): Minister of State for Home Affairs Jitender Singh will be visiting Chhattisgarh on Saturday during which he would review the development works being implemented under various Central Government schemes being implemented by the state government and the Central Paramilitary Forces.
During his three-day visit beginning today, Singh will visit Jagdalpur, Dantewada, Basaguda and Raipur.
He would be interacting with the local public, public representatives, officials of the state government and Central Armed Paramilitary Forces during his visit. He would also assess the development activities being undertaken by the other agencies.
An important objective of the tour is to devise ways to coordinate, improve and expedite the development activities in the region and to enhance job opportunities for the local population.
During the visit, the Minister would try to reach out to the people, specially the tribal population. (ANI)
