Cloudburst in Uttarkashi, four killed and 100 missing

Uttarkashi (Uttarakhand), Aug 4 (ANI): At least four people were killed and more than 100 went missing in the flash floods triggered by a cloudburst here.
The flash floods suddenly inundated the Bhagirathi river, causing huge loss to property.
More than 150 houses and two bridges were washed away in the incident that took place on Friday night.
The administration has evacuated the people living near the affected areas.
Incessant rainfall, cloud bursting, landslides and swollen rivers are causing havoc for locals and travellers crossing the area for pilgrimage to Rishikesh and Badrinath. (ANI)
