Olympics: Menezes warns Brazil about complacency against Honduras

United Kingdom,Sports, Fri, 03 Aug 2012 IANS

London, Aug 3 (IANS) Brazil coach Mano Menezes has warned his team about the dangers of complacency in Saturday's Olympic football quarterfinal match against Honduras.

According to Menezes, Honduras deserves respect for going undefeated during the group stage and beating one of the pre-tournament favourites Spain 1-0, reports Xinhua.

"Honduras is a very well-balanced team that is able to change its formation with the same players," Menezes said

"It's the result of a lot of hard work and when a team applies itself like that, it becomes very difficult to overcome."

Brazil advanced to the knockout phase after finishing top of Group C with wins against Egypt, Belarus and New Zealand.
