Posh hints at Olympic performance by tweeting sparkling mic pic

London, August 3 (ANI): Victoria Beckham set the rumour mill spinning of a Spice Girls performance at the Olympic closing ceremony, after she tweeted a picture of a sparkling mic.

Footie star David's wife posted a picture of a diamante-encrusted microphone along with the caption: "Look what I found!! X vb."

Although there has been no official confirmation and her publicist has offered no comment as to whether the girl group were rehearsing together, many fans believe that her tweet offered the verification that they needed.

According to sources, the girls will be singing at the closing concert on August 12, the Daily Mail reported.

The news came after Mel C said that she would take it as a personal snub if Spice Girls were omitted from the line-up.

"I'd be really upset if the Spice Girls weren't included in the Olympics, whether it be the opening or closing ceremonies or any other playlists, because I think we absolutely represented Britain in the 90s," she said.

"We literally flew the flag - and Geri even wore it - around the globe," she added. (ANI)
