New York, July 28 (ANI): Michael Jackson's brother Randy fears that the executors of the pop legend's estate are trying to kill their mother Katherine.
Katherine is ready to share guardianship of the King of Pop's kids with one of her other grandkids.
According to her lawyer, she and grandson TJ will file a request next week for joint responsibilities in raising the singer's three kids as one aspect of the bitter family feud winds down.
"The pleading will essentially now legally reflect how Mrs. Jackson and TJ have often shared responsibilities of raising the children since Michael Jackson's tragic passing," the New York Daily News quoted attorney Perry Sanders as saying in a statement.
"Mrs. Jackson is extremely pleased with the prospect of enjoying the pleasure of raising Michael's children," the statement read.
However, Jackson's kid brother Randy, in an off the wall tweet, charged executors of the King of Pop's estate were trying to murder their mom.
"It is my fear and belief that they are trying to take my mother's life," Randy said, capping a bizarre week of family in-fighting focused around 82-year-old Katherine Jackson.
"The Estate is trying to isolate my mother from her family JUST LIKE THEY DID TO MICHAEL, in order to propagate their lies, financial agendas and to protect a fraudulent will," he claimed.
Katherine drove 500 miles from Arizona for a Thursday reunion with Michael's three kids at their Calabasas, California residence.
She had spent the previous nine days at spa in the southwest amid reports that the family matriarch was kidnapped.
Randy suggested earlier in the week that the kidnap reports were designed to steer attention away from claims that his late brother's will was faked.
The will gave 40 percent of the estate to Katherine, 40 percent to Michael's kids, and 20 pervcent to charity. Randy and four of his siblings are challenging its validity.
On Friday, a proposal was announced where grandma Jackson and her 34-year-old grandson, TJ, would share guardianship of Michael's three children.
A California judge would need to sign off on the proposal next week.
The octogenarian Jackson "greatly appreciates the recent love and concern that people have shown for her and the kids," Sanders said.
The joint-guardianship proposal was approved by Michael Jackson's eldest child, 15-year-old Prince, according to Sanders. (ANI)
