Chennai, July 27 (IANS) Second seed Saketh Myneni of India took his appointed place in the final as he defeated compatriot and eighth-ranked Karunuday Singh 6-1, 6-3 in the Indian Oil Servo ITF Futures men's tennis tournament here Friday.
Myneni takes on fourth seed Suk-Young Jeong who overcame fellow-Korean Hyun-Woo Nam 6-4, 6-4, in the second semi-final.

Singles (semi-finals): 4-Suk-Young Jeong (KOR) bt 7-Hyun-Woo Nam (KOR) 6-4, 6-4; 2-Saketh Myneni (IND) bt 8-Karunuday Singh 6-1, 6-3.
Doubles (final): 1-Weerapat Doakmaiklee (THA) / Perakiat Siriluethaiwattana (THA) bt 2-Saketh Myneni / Arun-Prakash Rajagopalan 6-2, 2-6 (10-7).
