Why Kate Beckinsale refuses to bare all

London, July 26 (ANI): Actress Kate Beckinsale has ruled out going nude for a film because she doesn't want to embarrass her teenage daughter.

Beckinsale, the daughter of actor Richard Beckinsale and actress Judy Loe, was constantly harassed by her classmates when her mum stripped off for a TV role.

And she doesn't want her own daughter to have to go through the same humiliation.

"It was a TV thing, and there was a full-frontal nude scene. I had to beat a few kids up the next day. They'd come by and say, 'We've seen your mother naked!' It was more slapping and fingernails. But it did the job," the Daily Express quoted America's Allure magazine as saying.

And the Van Helsing star insists she will never put her 13-year-old Lily in the same situation.

"I haven't done an awful lot of nude scenes. And I've been somebody who has had a child for a very long time. Most of my peers don't have a 13-year-old. And it's embarrassing," she said.

Beckinsale has to watch what she says in TV interviews too.

"My daughter said to me, 'You know, I'd really love it if you never said the word 'vagina' in an interview again'," she added. (ANI)
