Patil to host dinner for Pranab, ministers Tuesday

New Delhi, July 23 (IANS) President Pratibha Patil will host a dinner for the president-elect Pranab Mukherjee and the council of ministers Tuesday, an official said Monday.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his team of ministers have been invited for the farewell dinner at Rashtrapati Bhavan, the official added.
Parliamentarians bid farewell to Pratibha Patil Monday at a function in parliament, and the prime minister also hosted a farewell dinner for her later.
Mukherjee will be administered the oath of office as the country's president July 25.
