Munda congratulates Mukherjee for becoming president

Ranchi, July 22 (IANS) Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda Sunday congratulated Pranab Mukherjee for being elected the 13th president of India, while the state Congress also celebrated the victory of the former finance minister.
A press statement said: "Chief Minister Arjun Munda has given best wishes to Pranab Mukherjee for getting elected as president of India".
Munda in message said, the country and state has lots of expectation from Pranab Mukherjee considering the fact he has played long innings in political and social life.
The state Congress also celebrated victory of Pranab Mukherjee in Jharkhand.
"We are happy that Pranab da has been elected as president of India. We thank BJP alliance partners like Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU) and Janata Dal-United (JD-U) for supporting Pranab da in the presidential poll" Shailesh Sinha, Jharkhand Congress spokesperson told IANS.
Besides BJP partners, Jharkhand Vikas Morcha-Prajatantrik and independent legislators supported Mukherjee in the poll.
