Stop tweeting if you want to win medals, warns London Olympics 2012 chief
London, July 20 (ANI): London Olympics Chairman Lord Sebastian Coe has warned athletes to stop tweeting, or they may damage their chances of winning medals at the Games.
Coe believes the more an athlete tweets, the less will be their chances of winning medals.
"I have found quite a close correlation between the number of tweets at competitive times and the level of under-performance," the Daily Mail quoted Coe, as saying.
"I have found a direct correlation between the amount of activity an athlete enters into on social media and their ultimate performance when it really matters - but that is for them to figure out," he added. (ANI)
