Bengaluru, July 19 (ANI): External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna on Thursday hailed Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) decision to host a One-Day International (ODI) and T20 series against Pakistan in December.

Speaking to mediapersons here, Krishna said, "I think this would further strengthen the bilateral relationship. I will be visiting Islamabad sometime in the beginning of the second week of September."

The ODI series, the first after five years, will consist of three one-day and two Twenty20 matches.

The ODIs will be played at Chennai, Kolkata and Delhi while the venues for the two T20 games will be Bengaluru and Ahmedabad.
