Lara Bingle reveals why being followed by paparazzi can be 'full on'
London, July 18 (ANI): Lara Bingle has opened up about the pressures of being in the public eye, and how it can have an affect on one's personal life.
Although she is well-known for dating sportsmen such as cricket captain Michael Clarke and rugby player Danny Cipriani, it seems that Bingle is now a celebrity in her own right.
"Yes, I live differently to a normal 25-year-old, but I've been given this life and just have to run with it. I'm not saving the world I am a model," the Daily Mail quoted her as telling GQ Australia.
The Australian model, who has launched her own reality TV show last month, went on to say that it is very important for her to switch off from her work.
"As much as it's your life, it's a job and I like to clock off at times and have other interests.
"During the week, the paparazzi are full on, but most Sundays I can pretty much run free and the paps don't follow me too much at night. You need to keep some things sacred and off limits," she said.
Bingle added that one person who helps her escape and live a normal life outside of her job is her partner Gareth Moody.
"He takes me away from the craziness. If I didn't have that, I'd go insane," she said.
The blonde star's reality TV show, 'Being Lara Bingle,' seems to have helped Bingle portray the real her to Australia.
"I'm portrayed in a certain light in Australia and there's a lot of frustration that comes with that for me.
"The biggest incentive for doing this show was to make people realise who I really am," she added. (ANI)
