Syrian defense minister killed, senior ministers wounded in Damascus bombing

Damascus, July 18 (Xinhua-ANI): Syrian Defense Minister Daoud Rajha was killed and some other senior officials wounded on Wednesday in a suicide bombing that tore through the National Intelligence compound in the capital Damascus, the state TV said.
The blast occurred at the time when some ministers and intelligence chiefs were having a meeting in the targeted building. (Xinhua-ANI)
