Care for a burger with 3 pounds beef, 12 rashers bacon and dozen cheese slices?

London, July 16 (ANI): The monster burger containing more than three pounds of minced beef, 12 rashers of bacon, a dozen slices of cheese and 12 onion rings, is being served up at new restaurant where bosses believe it could be one of the biggest on offer in Europe.

The mega sized burger is on the menu at Smokeys, which has opened in an empty building in Walsall, West Midlands.

Despite being open for several weeks no diners has so far completed the challenge of eating the 12-inch burger in an hour.

"We've even had some people scream when they see it," the Daily Mail quoted owner Dean Keys as saying.

Apart from serving up the beast of a burger, the restaurant is doing its bit to help ease unemployment, and has taken on two workers.

It is hoped that the company will be able to offer apprenticeships and one day make it into a chain.

The Express and Star has reported that the four men who opened the restaurant, Dean Keys and his brother Dale Keys, David Corr and John Cadrick were inspired by shows such as Man vs Food and trips to America. (ANI)
