UK police arrests streaker for disrupting Olympic torch relay

London, July 11 (ANI): The UK police has arrested a streaker who ran past through crowds just before former Olympian Steve Redgrave was to handle the Olympic torch.

According to News 24, Thames Valley Police said that they arrested the 27-year-old man on charges of outraging public decency.

The incident took place on Tuesday in Henley, around 55 km west of London.

Redgrave was setting off on a boat in the River Thames as the flame makes its 12, 875 km journey before the Olympics.

Police have warned spectators to stay away from the flame as it travels across Britain and Ireland. (ANI)
