Assam to raise task force to deal with crime against women

Guwahati, July 11 (IANS) Assam will soon form a task force to deal with the rising crimes against women across the state.
Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi announced the decision on Wednesday after the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) data indicated a sharp increase in crime against women in the state, particularly in Assam's largest city Guwahati.
