Indian maid in Malaysia found dead at employer's house

Kuala Lumpur, July 9 (ANI): An Indian maid has reportedly been found hanging from a ceiling fan in her employer's house in the Malaysian town of Gelugor.
The woman, who is in her 40s, is yet to be identified as her document was believed to have been kept by her employer, who is in Kuala Lumpur.
Northeast police chief ACP Gan Kong Meng said a neighbour, who was asked by the employer to check on her maid, called up the police after he suspected something amiss after there was no sign of the maid in the house.
According to The Star, police did not suspect foul play and have classified the case as sudden death.
The report quoted Meng, as saying that this was the second case of sudden death involving Indian maids reported in the Northeast District so far this year. (ANI)
