I've finally put the last year behind me, says Imogen Thomas

London, July 9 (ANI): Imogen Thomas has finally moved on from the worst year of her life and admits that she feels like she's "never felt sexier."

A year after the news of her sensational affair with Manchester United footballer Ryan Giggs made headlines, the Welsh Big Brother contestant finally feels that she has put the ordeal behind her.

"I've finally put the last year behind me. I'm having the best time in my life this summer and I've not felt happier in a long time. I feel good for the first time in ages," the Daily Star quoted her as saying.

"Last year was a very tough time for me. I have never been so stressed With anything hard like that that people go through it does take time to recharge and reassess. It has taken me a while to get to this point. I have a guard up and it's difficult for me to talk about things that were so negative in my life. I want to move on and forget it," she said.

For not only did the 29-year-old model face the public wrath because of her fling with the married Premier League star, she also faced death threats after the affair was outed and was even slapped with a legal gagging injunction.

"In some ways this year has been good for me and I finally feel myself again. I feel really strong, like nothing can break me now," she said.

"I got through it with a lot of support from my family. They helped me through it. My mum came to stay with me and never believed anything bad that was said about me.

"She would never tell me to leave the public eye all together though. She's so proud of my modelling and how I've carved a career for myself," she said.

Now, Thomas wants to focus on the future and on her city trader boyfriend Adam Horsley, 26.

"I'll never ever go out with a famous person ever again," she revealed.

"That's not me anymore. When I met Adam I was at a point where I didn't want to be with any man at all. He's great and was supportive. He gave me lots of confidence and he compliments me a lot.

"When you meet someone who is right for you, you just know. Adam has an amazing job, a wonderful career in his own right and he was there for me when I needed it. He is very sure of himself. He treats me like a princess. What more can I girl ask for?It's only been eight months and we are still very loved up," she added. (ANI)
