Tiger's 'stunning' niece says she doesn't expect to be next 'Tigress Woods'

Washington, July 7(ANI): Tiger Woods' niece Cheyenne, who is playing in her first US Women's Open tournament, has cooled down expectation levels on her, as she claimed she doesn't expect to become the next Tiger even though her uncle is one of her biggest supporters.

Woods, the 21-year niece of golfing great Tiger, recently turned professional after graduating from college.

While Tiger has won 14 majors, Cheyenne finished a bit lower on the leader board, as the 5-foot-6 swinger shot a three-over par 75 in her first round.

"Everyone out here has been really supportive," The New York Daily News quoted Cheyenne, as saying.

Cheyenne said her uncle Tiger was one of her biggest supporters, and is always present to help her.

"He's the best player in the world and I have him at my fingertips if I need help. So it's nice to have," Cheyenne said.

Cheyenne is the daughter of Earl Woods Jr., Tiger's older half-brother. The Arizona native just graduated from Wake Forest, where she was a three-time All-ACC player.

While excited about her pro career, she doesn't expect to become a future Tigress Woods.

"Tiger is a very elite athlete. Not everybody can be Tiger Woods. So I just do what I can do to be the best that I can," she said. (ANI)
