Naraine leads Windies to 2-0 whitewash over New Zealand

Fort Lauderdale (Florida), July 2 (ANI): Spinner Sunil Narine bamboozled New Zealand to hand West Indies a 61-run victory, and a clean sweep of their Twenty20 International double-header.
The Windies off-spinner snared four wickets for 12 runs from four overs, as New Zealand unsuccessfully chased 178 for victory, and were dismissed for 116 in 18.4 overs on another docile Central Broward Regional Park pitch in steamy weather.
Opener Chris Gayle had stroked 53 from 39 balls - his second half-century in as many innings on which West Indies built a competitive 177 for five from their allocation of 20 overs, after choosing to bat.
On the back of a 56-run loss in yesterday's first match, which also brought injuries to Ross Taylor, Jacob Oram and Roneel Hira, New Zealand were as bad if not worse in a crushing 61-run defeat today.
The bowlers did a slightly better job than their shoddy, rust-laden first-up effort, though the West Indies still posted 177-5 batting first at Lauderhill and that was far too much for a limp New Zealand batting lineup which went backwards, fast, and could only post 116 all out in 18.4 overs.
The two teams head to Jamaica for the first of five one-day internationals, on Friday morning (NZT), with the Kiwis in search of some answers as well as a quick boost of form, stuff.co.nz reports. (ANI)
