Wayne Rooney catches up with fellow teammate Ashley Cole on LA holiday

London, June 30 (ANI): Wayne Rooney caught up with his England pal Ashley Cole on his romantic getaway with wife Coleen in LA.

The WAG couldn't have been too impressed to see her man wandering off with the Chelsea defender, who the Man U has already spent weeks with this summer.

The footie players were part of the England team that crashed out of Euro 2012 at the weekend after losing on penalties to Italy in the quarter final.

Both sported serious expressions as they were locked in chat in Hollywood, possibly evaluating the national side's disappointing campaign.

But Rooney wasn't apart from his wife for long - the pair enjoyed lunch together, with Coleen snapped wolfing down a banquet at their hotel, the Sun reported.

The couple also went on a 90-minute tour of the famous Hollywood sign.

But, the footie star appeared far from happy as he took in the scenery surrounding the landmark.

Rooney and Cole aren't the only Premier League footballers staying at the Mondrian Hotel QPR winger Shaun Wright Phillips is also soaking up rays at the upmarket resort. (ANI)
