Lahore, June 30 (ANI): Former Pakistani wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal has been included in the list of 30 probables from which the T20 squad for the World Cup in Sri Lanka will be named.

Akmal's inclusion came after the Integrity Committee of the PCB cleared his name on Friday.

He had not been cleared by the board to be considered for selection in the national team since last year's World Cup, which witnessed the team's heart-wrenching defeat against India in the semifinal.

Akmal last played for Pakistan in September 2010 and has appeared in 53 Tests and 137 ODIs.

Apart from Akmal, Wahab Riaz, Abdul Razzaq and Imran Nazir have also been included in the list of 30 players and will be expecting to make their comeback in the national squad.

Shakeel Ansar and Sarafaz Ahmed are the other two wicket keepers whose names have been included. (ANI)
