London, June 29(ANI): McLaren ace driver Lewis Hamilton has expressed keenness to help out organizers in conducting a London Grand Prix, which would be sensational according to the former champion.
Formula One chief Bernie Ecclestone has said he is enthusiastic to stump up the cash to stage a race through London's streets and past famous landmarks, such as Buckingham Palace.
Hamilton has said he would love to see a grand prix staged in the capital and has urged organizers to ask him to help make the circuit fun to drive.
"I was looking over the city and a grand prix here would be the best thing in the world - the biggest event. It would be sensational," The Sun quoted Hamilton, as saying.
"They never approach drivers to have any input into the design of circuits, but I would be very, very open to help in any way. If they are planning to do it, I'd like to give advice on curves and corners and parts we should be going through. It would be insane," he added. (ANI)
