Chris Martin credits kids to 'no rock star ego'

London, June 29 (ANI): Chris Martin and his 'Coldplay' bandmates have revealed that their children are the ones who stop them from developing a rock star ego.

According to them, their children stop fame from getting the better of them.

"We played Wembley Stadium and I was like, Wow, we are big rock stars," the Mirror quoted Martin as saying.

"But at six o'clock in the morning the kids were like, Get me some pancakes. And I was like, Oh, am I a rock star? But that's what hopefully keeps your music real.

"Just at the point where you would have got really big egos, we all have these little people who we are all responsible for and they keep us focused on what is really important in life," he said.

Martin has two children 5-year-old Moses and 7-year-old Apple with wife Gwyneth Paltrow.

"If you ever feel like you are big-headed as a rock star, you come back and your children and family have a very keen knack for making you feel very small again," Guitarist Jonny Buckland added. (ANI)
