Washington, June 26 (ANI): US President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle recalled their first date together as part of a promotion for the campaign's win-a dinner contest.

The power couple recounted their museum trip, lunch in Chicago, a long walk and a Spike Lee film.

"We had lunch at the art institute - there was a little courtyard, with a little fountain" the Politico quoted Barack as saying.

"And then we went to see 'Do the Right Thing,'" he said.

'Do the Right Thing' was Lee's 1989 movie about race relations in New York's Bedford-Stuyvesant neighbourhood.

"He showed all the sides - he was hip, cutting edge, cultural, sensitive," Michelle added. (ANI)
