London, June 24 (ANI): Tennis star Serena Williams has claimed that she is getting butterflies in her stomach ahead of the London Games and is struggling to avoid an attack of Olympic fever.
"It's getting closer and closer and I'm getting more excited. It's a great feeling, and I love that feeling. I'm getting little butterflies in my stomach," The Sun quoted Williams, as saying.
The 13-time Grand Slam winner,30, said she wants a Wimbledon and London 2012 double to prove she has still got plenty to offer despite a slump in the rankings.
"I played two Olympics, which is pretty awesome, and have two gold medals, which is even better," she said.
Williams, seeded sixth, is determined to keep plugging away despite her patchy form, despite crashing out of the French Open last month in the first round, and is buzzing on her return to the Wimbledon. (ANI)
