Blake Lively becomes new face of Gucci's new fragrance 'Premiere'

New York, June 23 (ANI): Blake Lively, who is the new face of Gucci, has been praised by the company's creative director for her "unique style and charisma".

The 24-year-old leggy star has been named as the face of the Italian luxury brand's new fragrance Premiere.

The 'Savages' star was also praised for her movie-star quality.

"In conceiving this fragrance I was inspired by timeless Hollywood glamour and the iconic leading ladies of Hollywood's golden era," the New York Daily news quoted Frida Giannini, creative director of Gucci, as saying in a statement.

The commercial will have true cinematic appeal as Nicolas Winding Refn, the director of the 2011 film "Drive" shot the spot, which will be screened at the Venice Film Festival on Sept. 1.

Lively is a muse to some of the top names in fashion.

Karl Lagerfeld had dubbed her the face of Chanel's Mademoiselle handbag collection last spring. (ANI)
