'Big Smiles' for Portugal after quarterfinal win: Ronaldo

Warsaw, June 22 (IANS/RIA Novosti) It's all smiles for Portugal after they reached the Euro 2012 semifinals with a 1-0 win over the Czech Republic, goalscorer Cristiano Ronaldo said after the win.
Ronaldo's diving header on 80 minutes sealed the win for Portugal after he spurned a series of chances earlier in the game and hit the post twice.
"I managed to score this time, we won and are in the semi-finals. Now it is big smiles and good music," Ronaldo said in comments on the UEFA website.
The goal was Ronaldo's 36th for his country in 94 appearances.
Portugal will play either France or Spain in the semifinal.
