Tennis legend Navratilova insists Murray 'not in mix of elite four in tennis'

London, June 21(ANI): Legendary tennis player Martina Navratilova doesn't think British number one Andy Murray is good enough to win the Wimbledon this year, and denied the existence of an elite group of four players in world tennis.

The former Wimbledon champion believes Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer are completely on different level, and Murray needs to work harder to reach to their levels.

"I see it as a top three. Murray is not in the mix, I mean he gets to the semi-finals. He's been to a couple of finals, but Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer are head and shoulders above everybody else," The Telegraph quoted Navratilova, as saying.

"Those guys are just playing on another level," she added.

When asked whether Murray had enough time left to win a Grand Slam, Navratilova said he certainly has but currently the gap between him and the top three players is too big.

Navratilova said: "Absolutely. But he is coming up against very good guys. I just do not know if it can happen now because no matter how good his attitude is, Nadal and Djokovic are just playing better balls. It is a bigger gulf for him than it was for Henman." (ANI)
