New Delhi, June 21 (IANS) Three people were arrested here for duping several people on the pretext of installing mobile phone towers on the terraces of their homes, police said Thursday.

Rajesh, 29, Narender, 30, and Mamata Arora, 20, were arrested from their office in west Delhi's Netaji Subhash Place Wednesday.

"They were inducing people to earn more and easy money with the installation of mobile towers for which they had advertised in newspapers, but the group never contacted their victims

face-to-face," said P. Karunakaran, additional deputy commissioner of police.

"Rajesh, who was the mastermind of the racket, with the help of his associates used to cheat people residing in the national capital region," he added.
