Kathmandu (Nepal), June 21 (Xinhua-ANI): The state power utility, Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), has decided to reduce the power cuts duration to 42 hours from the existing 49 hours a week effective from Thursday.
The decision was made following the increase in water levels with the arrival of monsoon, said NEA officials.
Under the new schedule, the NEA will cut electricity supply by seven hours for one day, six hours for five days and five hours for one day a week. Except for one day, there will be load- shedding twice daily. (Xinhua-ANI)
