British teacher jailed for sex with underage student

London, June 19 (IANS) A 50-year-old chemistry teacher at a girls' boarding school in Britain has been sentenced to jail for three years for having sex with an underage girl student.
A court in Salisbury heard that Anthony Brown "fell head over heels in love" with the girl. He offered extra tuition, and invited her home and sexually touched her as they shared a bed, The Sun reported Tuesday.
Brown was suspended from the Godolphin School in Salisbury, after a parent raised concerns.
At the city's crown court, the teacher -- a father of three -- admitted charges of sexual activity with a child aged 13 to 15.
